Sneek Peek: Howard & Vanessa in San Fran

Here are a few pics of a recent wedding I photographed in San Francisco. We were lucky to get beautiful 70 degree weather that week in mid-Jan! Dorothy and Michael's San Francisco E-Shoot...

Although they live a bit south and east of San Francisco, Dorothy and Michael drove up to meet me in SF the day after a wedding shoot. I discovered the city through my lens as they brought me to The Presidio, to Baker Beach overlooking The Golden Gate Bridge, and to The Legion of Honor, an architecturally beautiful museum of ancient and European art surrounded by views of the Pacific, SF valleys and many redwood trees. I got to know this cute couple through photographing them, which is a good thing as I'll also be shooting their wedding in Austin, Texas this October! (Dorothy is from Austin, and they met there at The University of Texas a few years ago.) I love that late afternoon San Francisco light.

Here are a few more grids from my trip to California in January. Ahhh, the beautiful Pacific Coast. Seeing these again makes me miss the ocean and springtime in New York! Can't wait to go back in June for a wedding shoot I will have in Malibu... Arrivaderci!

Big Sur!

I finally had a moment to put this together: here is a collage of some of my Big Sur, California images. After I completed a couple of San Francisco shoots, Chandler and I drove south to Big Sur on the Pacific Coast. We spent time hiking in the woods, photographing, and we also did the 1 am-3 am hot springs baths session at Esalen! Sorry no pics at Esalen, as all you could see were the stars. What magnificent weather we had there. More images to come...
