Hannah and John's Engagement Shoot

Hannah and John were married yesterday in Bergen County, New Jersey. What a fabulous couple. I can't wait to feature the photos, but first, here are some engagement photos I made of them in Prospect Park back in March...

Dorothy and Michael's San Francisco E-Shoot...

Although they live a bit south and east of San Francisco, Dorothy and Michael drove up to meet me in SF the day after a wedding shoot. I discovered the city through my lens as they brought me to The Presidio, to Baker Beach overlooking The Golden Gate Bridge, and to The Legion of Honor, an architecturally beautiful museum of ancient and European art surrounded by views of the Pacific, SF valleys and many redwood trees. I got to know this cute couple through photographing them, which is a good thing as I'll also be shooting their wedding in Austin, Texas this October! (Dorothy is from Austin, and they met there at The University of Texas a few years ago.) I love that late afternoon San Francisco light.

Hello from Sunny San Francisco!

Hello from "warmer than usual" San Francisco! Chandler and I walked around in t-shirts today. How amazing is that? I'm here for a wedding shoot on Saturday, and then I'm traveling around for a few days to Big Sur and possibly wine country. I'm psyched! When I turned on my laptop today, I was pleased to see a little writeup and a feature on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book blog, of one of my Central Park, NYC engagement shoots. Heeki and Sue in Central Park

We found a warm-ish weekend in November to shoot these Fall engagement photos in Central Park. The sky was like a giant soft-box in that the light was soft, sometimes overcast light can really be the prettiest for portraits... I'll be photographing Heeki and Sue's wedding in April. What a cute couple, eh?
